Translation Ministry Purpose and Mission
Translation ministry is service to Jesus Christ by making modern translations of the Holy Bible using original language sources of Hebrew and Greek and localized weights and measures.
GOAL:
To translate efficiently with integrity and excellence to the guests we serve. The ultimate compliment is when translation brings a soul to Christ- that is our MISSION.
The International Language Ministry (Translation) is a group of anointed men and women passionate for God’s word and his people. The Translation Ministry is responsible for simultaneously translating what takes place on Sunday services, whether it be Praise & Worship, Musical Productions and the Preached Word to members and international guests that attend CPAI. The languages that we translate are Hausa, Yoruba, Ibo and French etc. Translating opportunities vary week to week as we serve our local and international body of believers.
With the primary focus being translating during Sunday services, translation ministry volunteers also can be found translating at various functions/activities of CPAI such as conferences, meetings, Mega-Care events and much more. We strive to emulate the heart of our Visionary and Pastor of seeing souls saved, restored and revived.
The volunteer make-up consists of:
- Translators (Ibo, Youruba, Hausa, French etc)
- Section Helpers/Greeters
- Administration Team
How we change lives
Our primary objective is the fulfillment of commandment from Matthew 28 : “Go and make disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
We do this by producing the Bible, which means that the word of God may be reproduced in print or electronic format in large number of copies and salvation of Jesus Christ proclaimed wherever needed.
