Drama Ministry Also called Calvary Art House, members of the department present Biblical principles and notable church information through theatre, as service to God and ministry to the church community and beyond. They produce quality dramatic and comedy presentations to enhance and compliment messages from the altar and themes of special attractions and events.
From playwriting to costume design, our drama ministry equips actors, writers, and production volunteers to share the Gospel through faith-based entertainment. Centered around biblical themes and characters, from stories of the creation, Noah’s Ark to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, this ministry creates faith-based experiences for the entire family.
CPAI actors, writers, and production volunteers (stage managers, makeup artists, crew and costume designers) are encouraged to showcase their talents through our dramatic arts ministry. As a creative, you will hone your skills by participating in intensive seminar, workshops and Theatrical training labs, including playwriting, film scripting, fundamentals of acting, and so much more. Our multitalented ministry writes, develops, and produces original plays, web series, commercials, and short films, among other Christ-centered projects. Throughout the year, writers script special events for all areas of the house as needed. DRAMA Experienced actors, writers, and production volunteers serving in The CPAI Drama Ministry will hone their skills in the following areas:
