Community Outreach Projects - COOP

COOP is set setup to get involved in the needs and wants of our community by helping them lead an independent and dignified life.

COOP provides safe shelter, nutritious meals, clean bore hole water, encourages proper defecation, communal conflict resolution, sports, entertainment, healthcare, childcare, legal guidance, vocational training, capacity-building workshops and other critical support services to foster self-sufficiency and unity in our communities.

Across each calendar year, lots of families within the community benefit from COOP intervention Programs, workshops, Seminars, Events, Sessions and Activities.

The COOP Mandate is to build 1000 Capacity centers for Crèche and Daycare, permanent residential shelters for Orphanage Home etc.

UNDP Sustainable Development Goals

Its operations are in conformity with a threefold vision of which is stated below:

1. Bringing people into God’s presence through prayer, praise, worship and learning.

2. Preaching messages of hope that are relevant to the needs of the people.

3. Bringing comfort to people and providing them with a place and an atmosphere of love, care, sharing and fellowship.

With the Help of our Scholarship Programs, Tuitions are provided for out of school children in the community and many who are currently in school receive support from informal classes and vocational training leading to employment.

Through the COOP programs and interventions, self-sufficiency is encouraged and goals can be achieved for both the individual and their respective families. COOP passionately believes in social inclusion and ensures that all groups and activities are accessible to all.
